TheĀ Ortext Build plugin enables simple timelining. Via the Ortext admin page (under the WordPress main admin section Settings) you can set a base date-time and a time-step. The next new post created will be dated with the base date-time. Subsequent posts created will have date-times incremented by the time-step. By changing the base date-time, you can start different sections of your ortext at nice, round date-times.
The ortext serial publication dating appears in the top meta-box in the admin screen for adding a post. You have the option of using the current publication date. You can set the current publication date to whatever you want and use that for a specific post. Once the post has been published, you can use the normal WordPress means for changing the publication date to change the post’s position in the content timeline.
