The Latin text of Tertullian’s ad Uxorem is available from the Tertullian Project. A rather literal English translation is available in the Ante-Nicene Christian Library (1869), Vol. 11, Ch. 11. Le Saint (1951) is a more free English translation. These two English texts and the Latin text are the sources for my translations of ad Uxorem in discussing Tertullian’s use of the evil-communication phrase.
